MULTI-CLASS APPLICATIONS

However, it is advisable to file "single" applications for each class of goods or services, since in the event there is an opposition to one class, the entire application will not be prosecuted until the opposition is decided, thus resulting in considerable delay to the disposition of the other classes under application.
Furthermore, when dealing with multi-class applications, the Head of Industrial Property Department, may reject other classes based on the relationship between goods or services of different classes.
